New year, new you! The buzz is the Mediterranean diet, a healthy, tasty and fun way of eating! Join us for another cooking class where we concentrate on all the vegetarian options and benefits of the Mediterranean diet.


We will be making:

Fakes (Greek lentil soup)

Imanbaldi (stuffed eggplant with fresh herbs)

Tourlou (assorted fresh roasted vegetables)

Fasolada (Greek style beans)

Kolokithokeftedes (zucchini balls)


These are amazing as meals or a delicious side dish!

You will be impressed with how easy it is to make vegetables taste so wonderful!


A little bit about the cooks:

Katerina is from Greece but has lived in Rockford, MI for the last 20 years. She is a phenomenal cook who does the Greek cooking demos at the Yassou Greek Festival in Grand Rapids. She was one of the owners of Greek to Go, but since has retired to be with her grandchildren. She is an awesome and entertaining cook.

Esta is first generation Greek who learned to cook from the best, her mom! She is now the owner of Greek to Go and one of the co-founders of the Yassou Greek festival. Her husband owns the Red Hot Inn, which is where she runs Greek to Go from the back door. Graciously,  her husband has offered use of the restaurant on Sunday to have fun and get our Greek on!
